Studies the major aspects of the criminal justice system and provides an assessment of current issues such as globalization and advances in technology. Students analyze contemporary issues such as drug abuse, gang cultures, sex crimes, cybercrimes, community policing, juvenile crimes, prison and jail privatization, and community corrections challenges.
